ADRON BUSKE
Writer/Creator of "Loop & Hoodie" and "Path of the Black Hand"
Production designer, web designer, letterer and occasional artist
A professional webmaster, freelance designer, occasional photographer & videographer and sporadically performing singer-songwriter-musician, Adron’s fascination with comics began with the gatefold cover of X-Men #1, solidified with Sandman #50 and has continued unabated since. When not secluded in a little home office piled with books, short boxes, computer stuff and musical equipment, he tries desperately to make time for his loving and patient wife, Wendy, his friends in ‘The Armada’ and his vivacious dog Domino.
DAN CASSITY
Penciller and Character Designer for "Loop & Hoodie", "Morningstar" and "Writer's Block"
Dan Cassity is 32-years old and lives at Scott AFB in Illinois with his smoking-hot wife Karen and his two boys. His love for comic books started at age 14 after reading about the death of Jason Todd in the Batman comics. 6000+ comic books later, he draws when he’s not working, he sleeps occasionally, and he attributes what little skill he has to having a loving family and to being slightly retarded.
JOHN EBERLE
Artist and Co-Creator of "Bruder", Artist on "Path of the Black Hand"
Not only is John Eberle an award winning artist, he's also a certified chef, does laundry, cleans house and can fix a flat tire in under 5 minutes. Other reasons why John is awesome include being a guitarist / vocalist, voice actor, snazzy dresser and easy on the eyes. In fact, one of the few reasons John is not awesome is that he knows next to nothing about comic books and feels remorse because of it.
MIKE KIME
Writer and Co-Creator of "Bruder"
Mike occasionally shows up and rocks out to the mp3s on his phone. He works the jewelry counter and has cool hair.
BROCK NICHOLSON
Writer/Creator of "Morningstar"
Brock Nicholson is a writer whose love for comics began when his grandmother played old Superman shorts to keep him entertained. Little did she know that the tales of mad scientists and giant robots would spark a lifelong love of costumed heroes in all their various guises. He currently lives in Belleville, IL with his wife Brandy, who not only tolerates his comic book obsessions, but has begun to develop a few of her own.
TRAVIS NUCKOLLS
Inker on "Loop & Hoodie", "Morningstar", "Bruder" and "Writer's Block"
Emergent Phenomena cover colorist
A graphic artist, web designer, illustrator, amateur photographer, very amateur writer, and procrastinator extraordinaire. His first exposure to anything comic-related was Superman. (FYI, tying a towel around your neck as a cape doesn't allow you to fly) As a child in love with cartoons, he got his start drawing Ninja Turtles and has been drawing in some form or another ever since. His long running love of comic books in the printed form began with a certain two-toned-Shell Head and quickly turned into much more. He also has a healthy interest in all things sci-fi and fantasy related. He lives with his wife (who shares just enough of his traits to tolerate the ones she doesn't) and his loveable, jumping puppy, Gimli.
AARON PITTMAN
Writer/Artist/Creator of "Percy the Nazi Killer"
A college drop-out who decided that making music was more important than an education. He lives in a tiny apartment with his girlfriend, his puppy Rosco, his collection of comic books, and plenty of Star Wars action figures. He spends half the year touring the country with his band, This Hollywood Machine and the other half working in a small cafe. His comic book journey started with Young Justice and Impulse, then blossomed into the weekly purchase of nearly every Marvel and Image title, but (due to the constraints of "real life" and money) has dwindled to a mere handful of creator-owned titles a month.
DREW ROSE
Writer/Creator/Letterer of "Writer's Block", Letterer on "Percy the Nazi Killer"
If comics were a sandwich, Drew would eat them every day. Splitting time between a comic shop gig and a small cafe (with Aaron), Drew has the best collection of comic-related t-shirts and the brightest shoes of the group.
